We all experience moments of frustration and anger—that’s natural. But how can you tell when those feelings are becoming an issue? Occasional anger is normal, but if it starts to feel overwhelming, leads to aggressive reactions, or disrupts your relationships and daily life, it may be a sign to seek support.
This course is designed to help you understand your anger, recognise its triggers, and empower you with practical tools to manage it effectively—so it never takes control of you. Learn how to stay calm and in control, even when small irritations arise.
This course is perfect for anyone who has felt regret after an angry reaction and wants to learn how to respond in a calmer, more constructive way. It’s also ideal for those who anticipate facing confrontational situations and worry they may be triggered. Whether you struggle with recurring anger in daily life or want to prepare for challenging interactions, this course offers practical tools to stay in control. You’ll learn to recognise early signs of escalation, de-escalate conflicts effectively, and set boundaries without letting anger take over.
Core to managing your anger is understanding your physical response to anger, what triggers it, how it escalates, and the process for managing and ultimately preventing your anger from getting the better of you. You will discover simple but effective anger management techniques to control your anger as it's happening, as well as more in-depth approaches to understand your anger process and stop it from escalating. This course will help you approach every situation with a positive, composed mindset, empowering you to face challenges with confidence and clarity.
The group is led by Dr Ross Leembruggen who is a compassionate, caring and committed professional, recognised for his ability to provide high quality, evidence-based psychological services to individuals, families and organisations, that make a difference.
This short course is for personal development.
Note: This is NOT a course accredited by Government forensic and like purposes. If you have been court-ordered to complete an anger management course, please ensure that you follow their requirements.
