Chanel is passionate about facilitating positive long-term changes necessary to enable clients to live an enriched and meaningful life.
Chanel has experience with a diverse range of patients from 3 years of age to 82 years of age, from multiple ethnicities and religions. Chanel has worked in private and public clinics, crisis services, university settings and correctional facilities, which have afforded a robust experience in assessment and treatment of a variety of presenting concerns, both diagnostic and circumstantial.
Chanel is particularly interested in the role of both developmental systems and biopsychosocial models of health as they apply to psychological disorders, as well as the multiple factors that impinge on mental health across the lifespan.
Chanel provides a client-centered approach when working with her patients, respecting the roles of both developmental systems and biopsychosocial models of health as they apply to psychological disorders, as well as the multiple factors that can impinge on mental health across the lifespan. Working collaboratively with her patients’ therapy goals, Chanel draws from multiple evidence-based treatments which she tailors in accordance with her patients’ needs.
